Gerhard Herrmann is a European-based professional with 25 years experience in financial planning, consulting, systems installation and integration, management buy-ins, and mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive knowledge of German financial and statutory issues and local and US GAAP interfaces. He has acted at the CEO and CFO levels in both German and US owned businesses.
Gerhard has worked on restructuring assignments in the auto supply industry in Germany including Collins & Aikman, Dura Automotive and Fori Eurotec.
He holds a degree in Business Administration, FHS Saarland, Saarbrücken.
Keith Von Local is based in Cologne, Germany and is a finance and accounting professional with over 30 years experience; 5 years in UK and 25 in Germany for subsidiaries of US/UK SME manufacturing companies. He has worked mainly at CFO level but has also worked several years as CEO. He has executed many reorganisations and right sizing of German companies including negotiating social and redundancy plans with works councils and unions. He has a proven track record of success in achieving his goals with his ‘can do’ attitude. He has extensive knowledge of German, US & UK GAAP. Extensive SAP IT training complements his accounting/controlling skills.
Keith trained and qualified (CIMA) with GEC in the UK. On moving to Germany he was CFO then CEO for Bausch & Lomb (Rayban sunglasses manufacturer). He then held CFO positions in micro-switch manufacturing, car leasing and foam production. Since 2000 he has operated as a change manager and interim CFO. He was CFO and then CEO for a German subsidiary of Delta Electrical, Birmingham. Since 2003 Keith’s interim projects in Germany include TMD, Linpac, Valspar, Johnson Controls, and James Halstead UK.
Keith is a Chartered Management Accountant.
